A letter to my current and future clients:

Whether we already have a working relationship or we haven’t had the opportunity to meet yet, this is who I am.

I strive to be down to earth and I am highly qualified, I have the knowledge and experience to bring your design vision to life. I am a fully accredited Interior Design Professional, member of the DDA (Designers and Decorators Association) and a member of IDCEC (where qualified designers and decorators are required to regularly add to their knowledge base) as well as several other professional affiliations and business development organizations.

I have access to many trade only products and can help you decide, based on your goals and budget, if that is the route for you. Beautiful design is not a budget item and requires a significant amount of “unseen work” (sourcing, space plans etc.) and candid conversation from the beginning is an important foundation for our working relationship. Every client is different, as is every person, I respect that.

Together with my husband, we have purchased the Hall Homestead (29 acres of paradise, circa 1844, and owned by the Hall Family since 1970) and have worked diligently in our spare time (when we are not with clients from Rowan Design or Hall Ironworks Inc) to bring our vision of Rowanwood to life.

This journey included, through the limitations of Covid19, putting the time and effort into the studies required for ordination as a non-denominational minister, recognized in the Province of Ontario and the vested powers of the Marriage Act to perform weddings, conduct celebrations and ceremonies and help others find the spiritual path that resonates with them.

The spirit of home and the spirit of your journey are complimentary modalities encompassing body, mind, soul and surroundings.
